Subject: Psychiatry, Psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery-oriented care

Thesis subject

My doctoral work focuses on the concept and determinants of personal recovery for people living with bipolar disorder. It explores the concrete care tools that can support it and in particular therapeutic education programs.
A personal recovery scale specifically dedicated to bipolar people has been translated into French, adapted and expanded. The evolution of recovery scores was studied after participation in a PTE program. The views of participating patients and caregivers were separately explored through qualitative studies.
